The Start of a New Year

The start of our New Year has consisted of traveling West!  Just the three of us.  We loaded up New Year's Day and me and this Angel baby rode in the back and watched movies and ate yummy road-trip snacks all the way to Fredericksburg.

We love Fredericksburg!  It is such a fun, quaint, Texas town that we adore.  Bradley B wanted to check out the tiny town of Luckenbach right next door -  so very country and right up my baby's alley.  Miller Lite, Live Country music, and just good ol' friendly Texas people- I think my husband was in heaven.

We even went back the next day!

We have made it to New Mexico safe and sound and are enjoying time together with our family of three. We have seen lots of pretty snow so we will be back with more updates very soon.

Christmas Recap

We had a blessed and wonderful Christmas and Mr. C has more toys and clothes than he knows what to do with.  I think we need a bigger house after Christmas '09!  We started the day off with just the three of us listening to Elvis' Blue Christmas and Caiden opening all his presents from Daddy, Mommy, and Santa.  We had him open all his small presents first because we knew if we gave him the "big surprise" first, the other gifts would not get opened.  HA!  We truly are blessed to have such a wonderful family who love (and spoil) Caiden so very much.  Since I have been such a bad blogger lately, I thought I would give you all  (especially the Grandparents) a little picture overload!

Zoo Fun with the Sapp Family

Tuesday was the perfect day for the Houston Zoo!  It was chilly and the day was beautiful.  Addison and Caiden had so much fun looking at all the animals and petting the goats.  There are so many pictures so instead of uploading each one individually, I decided to make a collage.  You should be able to click on the collage to make it larger.  Now that the weather is getting cooler we will be hitting up the zoo a lot.

Happy Thursday!  Halloween is right around the corner!!  We can't wait to take our little munchkin Trick or Treating.

Guess Who???

Guess who came over for a quick play time?  The sweetest little cousin e-ver came to visit Caiden last Saturday morning and brought him a bitty pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.  Yep, right in the middle of breakfast Jacob and Meme surprised C with a little "BAAALLL".  (That's what they both call the pumpkins).  I absolutely love these two precious boys so very much.

Go Big Deer!

Friday night Deer Park played Pasadena and we went to support our sweet nephew Dylan.  Caiden loves going to the football games and never misses a clapping opportunity.  Anytime the fans were cheering, Caiden was right there with them clapping his little sweet hands just as hard as he can.  Before the game we took Caiden on the field to take pictures with the cheerleaders.  It feels like just yesterday I was on that same field cheering on the mighty Deer.  DP won and Caiden had such a blast.
