Uncle Mike and CCW

Uncle Michael came in town before he left for Iraq. We made a trip to Rockport to visit Nanny and Papa (Caiden's Great Grandparents). Denalei and Jacob came with us as well. My Dad threw Michael a going away party and of course we made a trip to Ichibon and Border Grill. We were sad to see Michael leave, but so glad he got to spend some time with his nephews. We love you Michael and are so proud of you.

Hill Country Fun

After the Frio we headed to Driftwood, Wimberley, and New Braunfels. Caiden was such a trooper. He did great in the car and made our little family vacation with a 2 1/2 month old a breeze. The boys tried out Texas Ski Ranch first and then we headed to dinner at the awesome Mandola Winery. Caiden "floated" the Guadalupe River and we visited Gruene Hall. A short vacation in the Hill Country is always a nice treat, especially since I have to go back to work in a week.

First trip to the Frio River

We decided Caiden was old enough to take his first "road trip" so we packed up and headed to the Frio River with Uncle Steve, Aunt Christa, Dylan, Wayne, Wendy, and Austin. We had a lot of fun and Caiden had his first dip in the Frio River as well as his first dance at Garner State Park.
