Caiden Cole turned 15 months on Tuesday. I feel like I am going to blink my eyes and be at his High School graduation. His Daddy and I love him more than we could ever imagine and everyday we thank God for blessing us with the most precious little healthy boy. We had a little scare over the weekend and had to spend several hours at Texas Children's Hospital with him. Come to find out it was nothing serious, but C was having trouble breathing so we rushed him to the ER. After several tests and X-rays and tons of different doctors and nurses looking at him they came to the conclusion that he had Gastritis. Basically, he had tons of gas built up in his tummy that was putting pressure on his diaphragm. Finally, they let us go home and we could not have been happier to leave that place. Being in that hospital really makes us appreciate how lucky we are to have a healthy son. We know there are so many sweet little babies and kids fighting all kinds of scary diseases and we just pray that they all get to go home very soon. We truly are more blessed than words can say.
So if you are wondering what C man is up to at 15 months here it goes. He is running all over the place and climbing on everything imaginable. I often catch him standing on top of our coffee table or on top of our kitchen chairs. He loves swimming class and is about to get moved up to the next level. He can now go to the bottom of the pool and kick his way to the top of the pool. He holds his breath under water for several seconds and can dive to the bottom and get the diving rings (with assistance). Caiden's appetite is still very good and there isn't much he doesn't like. He loves all kinds of fruit including bananas, apples, oranges, watermelon, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and especially cantaloupe. He eats tons of goldfish, raisins, grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese, pancakes, waffles, and so much more. His favorite is rice and beans and he even dips his chips in the cheese dip now (apple don't fall far from the tree). He can say Mama, Dada, dog, duck, deer, Jacob, hat, ju(juice). Caiden is currently learning all the colors in sign language and can show you where everything is on his body. He is very outgoing and rarely meets a stranger. He loves to play on the kiddy slide at day care and slides down head first. He has no fear and will run into the pitch dark at night without any hesitation. He HATES wearing his shoes and will take them off any chance he can. He is a very happy little boy and unless he is sleepy, he is usually smiling. He is growing like a weed and now weighs 27 lbs. We are so proud of our little man and could not love him more if we tried.
Of course, I would not leave you without posting some pictures of the love of our life.
