Caiden's First Christmas

Caiden's first Christmas was quite busy. Daddy woke us both up at 7:00am with the video camera in our face and Elvis' Blue Christmas playing in the background. Neither of us wanted to open our eyes, but once we were finally awake it was time to open presents. Caiden must have had 100 presents under the tree because our front living room was packed and you could barely walk. We started the day with just us three opening presents from Santa. Then we cooked a little breakfast waiting on Grandpa and Mawmaw to stop by. We opened gifts with them for a while and then they had to leave for their big Christmas party at their house. Once they left we got ready to head out to Mamaw and Papaw's house for their Christmas. We stayed a while over there and then headed to Meme and King Daves. Caiden had so many presents throughout the day, we could barely fit it all in our car. At the end of the day we decided to have a Wii tournament at Uncle Steve and Aunt Christa's house. We were pooped out by the end of the night, but had an amazing first Christmas with Caiden Cole. We are so very blessed to have him in our lives and we thank God every day for blessing us with a happy, healthy baby. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Every year for Christmas Eve we head down to Rockport to celebrate Christmas with my grandparents. It is so fun to now have a baby at Christmas time. Caiden got lots of presents and we all had fun visiting with family.

Christmas Tree Pictures

Bradley Buck went out of town to go hunting so Denalei and Jacob came over to hang out with me and Caiden. We were hoping to get some pictures of both the boys together in front of the Christmas Tree. Unfortunately to get both the boys to sit still in their outfits together and smile at the same time was pretty much impossible. Caiden did smile for a few pictures and we at least got a few of the boys together just not both looking at the camera. Poor Jacob did not want to have anything to do with picture taking or the hat on his head. These boys are definitely entertaining. They probably had about 50+ toys to play with all sprawled out in the living room and they kept fighting over Denalei's car keys. Go figure. They are so much fun and I am so glad they are so close in age. A lot of fun times ahead of us with these two.

Just a few quick pics of our Christmas Decorations this year. We put Caiden in his Santa hat and he helped Mommy and Daddy get ready for his 1st Christmas.

Too tired to eat

Brad was trying to feed Caiden Macaroni and Cheese (his favorite) for lunch and right in the middle of it he just pooped out. He was just too tired to even eat.

Family Christmas Pictures

We had the girls at TGC Photography take our family pictures for our Christmas cards. They did an amazing job and made it a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Caiden's 1st Snow

We cannot believe how much it snowed in Deer Park last night. It was so fun. I have never seen snow like that in Deer Park before. We bundled Mr. C up in some warm gear and took him outside to see the snow. What a good memory. It was freezing outside and literally snowed for several hours. We drove around and looked at all the neighbors houses. In our neighborhood park kids built a snow hill and were actually sledding down it. A lot of people in the neighborhood built snowmen. We drove over to Meme's and they had tons of snow as well.

Snow in the Park

Deer Park host an annual "Snow in the Park" so Brad and I decided to take Caiden to see what it is all about. Basically they bring in these huge trucks of ice that create snow. There are different sections for young kids and older kids to play in. We just sat Caiden in the snow really quick to get a couple pictures. He did not know what to think of all the people and especially the freezing cold on his hiney. We stayed a whole 20 minutes and then headed out to our good friends Andy and Misha's house.
