Learning to Walk

On St. Patricks Day, Caiden took his first steps!!!
We had been out of town with Meme and Aunt Kellye visiting my grandparents and when we came home on St. Patricks Day Caiden was so excited to see Daddy! We were playing with him in the kitchen and getting him to stand on his own and he walked about 6 steps between me and Brad. Since then we have been working with him and he is getting a little better. I bet in a month he will be walking on his own. Here is a video I took of him trying to take some steps last night. It would have been a lot easier with someone else taking the video, but at least you can see him taking a few steps ( and crashing a lot). Now we are really going to have our hands full.

Kiss me! I'm Cute!!!

We went to Hooters for St. Patricks Day to drink green beer and of course we had to get some pictures with Caiden and the girls. My camera was acting crazy so only a few pictures came out decent enough to post. There were some really cute ones, but they were just too blury. He is only allowed to go here with Mommy and Daddy...

Cowboy Caiden

Caiden's first Rodeo was so fun. He got to see pigs, cows, chickens, turkeys and so much more. We walked around the Reliant Center for a few hours and then headed over to the stadium to watch Josh Turner and all the events going on over there. The Mutton Busting was definitely our favorite. Brad is ready for Caiden to gear up and start training as a Mutton Buster any day now.

Kiki's Wedding

One of my good friends, Kristen VanEtten, got married a few weekends ago. Here are a few quick pics from the wedding. It was such a pretty wedding and Caiden was so quiet during the whole ceremony. With the help of Meme and Puffs he was a very good boy!

Fun at Nanny and Papas

A few weeks ago Caiden and I went down to Rockport to visit my grandparents. I have been wanting to go for a while now during the week, but I was nervous about the drive with just me and Caiden (it is 3 hours). I knew I would have to pull over a million times and did not think that was too safe. So Nanny had to come to Deer Park two weekends in a row so we went back with her the week in between to spend some time with them. Caiden ate real Spaghetti for the first time and loved it (as you can tell in the pictures). He also tried Meatloaf for the first time and pizza. Nanny is such a good cook so I am trying to get recipes from her and learn as much as I can. We eat out waaaay too much. It was so nice to spend a whole week with them and Caiden had a blast!

Jacob Leon Turns One

I cannot believe it has been a year since Jacob, Caiden's cousin, was born. It has flown by and that means Caiden's Birthday is right around the corner. Jacob's Birthday party was so fun and he did so good at opening all the presents. The kids jumped on the moon walk and everyone had a great time. Here are a few pictures from the day. Swinging in the Park

Caiden loves being outside!!! Brad and I like to take him to the neighborhood park across the street from our house and let him swing. He loves it and just laughs and laughs when you push him on the swing. He is such a fun little boy.
