Our Thanksgiving was pretty laid back. Brad had to work most of the day so Caiden and I went to Meme and King Daves to eat Thanksgiving Dinner.

1st Solid Food (Green Beans)
At 6 months, Caiden got to try out solid food for the first time. We gave him green beans and he loved them. He ate every bite and then Uncle Mike tried to wash them down with some beer (not really). Love these pictures.

Uncle Michael's in town!
Uncle Michael got to take his leave from Iraq (2 weeks) in November. We stayed busy going to dinner, Texas Saloon, Nanny and Papa's to celebrate Thanksgiving early and of course Ichibon. Here are a few pictures from the time we got to spend with Michael. He loves his nephews so much.

Halloween 2008
We had a few people over for Halloween 2008. Caiden was not too happy in the crawfish outfit, but we got a few shots.

Pumpkin Patch Time
Caiden's first trip to the Pumpkin Patch was so fun. A local Church here in Deer Park has a Pumpkin Patch every year and Brad and I started the tradition last year (when Caiden was in my belly). We took Caiden on a beautiful Sunday and dressed him up in this cute pumpkin sweat suit that I bought at Toys R Us for $9.99 ( I couldn't pass it up). He actually did not mind the hat part of it and was such a good sport while we were trying to get his pictures taken. I thought the pictures turned out great so I sent one in to Channel 2's Anthony Yanez who is the meteorologist on the morning news. He thought the picture was great and Caiden made it on the NBC morning news. I have it on video. So funny! He is our little T.V. star.
Our first Halloween Party with Aunt Denalei and Jacob
So my friend at work, Jack, threw a Halloween party and Denalei and I attempted to take both the boys to their first official Halloween party. The idea was good, but the execution, not so much. First off, the party was about 50 miles away from Deer Park. Caiden screamed and cried the whole way there, even though we stopped in the middle of Houston so I could feed him. And to make matters worse, we pull up to the wrong party walking up with the boys in their Halloween costumes to find out we were at a Birthday Party for someone in the same neighborhood. Once we finally arrived, about two hours late, it was a fun time. We got a couple shots of the boys in their outfits. Too cute. Caiden is going to hate me one day for dressing him up as a crawfish.

Rockport Weekend
Brad went out of town hunting so Meme, Caiden, and I headed down to Rockport to spend time with Papa. Nanny was out of town so we went down there to keep him company. Luckily Nanny came home early so we got to spend some time with her as well. Caiden loves his Great Grandparents.
